Mission
As the Nursing Department, our mission is to train professional nurses who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide preventive, therapeutic, rehabilitative and health-promoting nursing services for individuals, families and society, who are respectful of human rights, committed to ethical values, have analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and who can lead society.

In line with this purpose, we aim to conduct qualified research to develop nursing science and practices, to train nurses who are open to continuous learning and development, who follow scientific and technological innovations, and who develop approaches to maximize patient safety and care quality. In addition, we aim to train health professionals who are sensitive to the health needs of the society, respectful of cultural diversity, prone to teamwork and equipped with leadership skills.

As the Nursing Department, our vision is to be a pioneer and leading department in healthcare services, recognized globally in the field of nursing by offering innovative educational programs and education at international standards. We aim to train graduates who guide nursing practices with advanced research and scientific studies, contribute to health policies, produce solutions to problems in the health field, are sensitive to society and committed to ethical values.

Our aim is to ensure that our graduates become professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills to compete nationally and internationally, open to continuous development and learning, adopt a patient-centered care approach, and effectively use evidence-based nursing practices. In addition, our greatest vision is to train individuals who lead projects to improve public health, increase the sustainability and quality of health systems, and ensure that the nursing profession is represented more strongly on national and international platforms.

In line with this goal, we aim to prepare our graduates to be leaders not only in the field of clinical nursing, but also in the fields of management, education and research. As the nursing department, we act with a vision that aims to ensure professional development and sustainability of quality health care in the health sector.
